Why is it important to study the Bible?

It's important to study the Bible because God's Word leads you in the right direction in life. Illuminate the path ahead so you can clearly see which path to take. Bible study works in conjunction with our daily time in Scripture. In Luke chapter 2, there is an account of a situation that occurred when Jesus was a child.

I remember a few years ago, when I was studying the book of Exodus, I was reading chapter 24 and verse 12 just jumped at me.
