Author Biography
Larry Huch is the founder and senior pastor of New Beginnings Christian Center in Portland, Oregon, a church which ministers to over five thousand people at this writing. Over the past twenty years, he and his wife Tiz have pioneered six churches in America and Australia. The success of these churches is due to their enthusiasm and love for people, their personal commitment to evangelism, and their excellent and effective teaching. They truly assist believers to become successful and fulfilled in all areas of their lives. One of the hallmarks of their church is its racial, economic, and cultural diversity. New Beginnings defies the old adage that "11 A.M. Sunday is the most segregated hour of the week." Pastor Larry's message boldly declares that God is a good God and His love for all people can transform them regardless of their past. This message is carried to the world through their television program, Called to Conquer, which airs on many stations and reaches millions of households with this powerful message. They also conduct an annual World Leadership Conference to empower ministers with this same dynamic message so that they can take it back to their own cities.
