| New American Bible Translation Old and New Testaments, including the Deuterocanonical Books The NAB is the official translation used in the United States for the lectionary of the Catholic church. The NAB edition has the same great features that young people loved in the New Revised Standard Version of The Catholic Youth Bible, plus all the additional features that are part of the official New American Bible text: Extensive footnotes furnish the correct interpretation of a passage or indicate a reading closest to the original languages.
