Being involved in a ministry that teaches the importance of lifting up Jesus through music, I was excited after reading The Rebirth of Music. This book is packed with Scripture and concepts about music that the Church needs.

LaMar shares some very revealing Scripture regarding lucifer's (satan's) involvement in music before he fell from Heaven and his counterfeiting efforts since he has fallen.

Very simply, God is the creator of all things, and He intends for the Church to give light and leadership to the world. We as the Body of Christ can no longer allow the world to dictate the trends of music, but we must instead offer music that is unparalleled in power because of the creative power of God that dwells in us.
