| Measures 8.25" high on wooden base. Door opens to reveal poem. Poem reads: "I said, 'Will someone get the door?' I can hear them knocking. I've got both of my hands full - I'm trying to hand a stocking I can't believe they're still at it - still knocking at the door. Look how late it is already, what could they be here for? Just then my son unlocked the door, with all of his sweet innocence, but there was no one there at all - just a donkey's snowy footprints. I searched but couldn't find them - then noticed up the hill, an innkeeper's light was flickering, and two people were standing still. I fell down on my knees right there and I began to cry before ten thousand angels came and filled the midnight sky. They sang a sort of Christmas carol that gave me cause to celebrate... "Make room, make room, make room right now, don't worry, it's not too late." |
