About the Author
Jane Bluestein, Ph.D., is a dynamic and entertaining speaker who lives in Albuquerque,
New Mexico, and specializes in promoting positive adult-child relationships. She has
appeared internationally as a speaker and talk-show guest, including several appearances as a guest expert on National Public Radio, The Vicki! Show, TalkNews Television, and The
Oprah Winfrey Show. Bluestein serves on the board of the National Council for Self-esteem
and has authored several books, including 21st Century Discipline, Being a Successful
Teacher, Parents in a Pressure Cooker, and Parents, Teens & Boundaries, as well as
dozens of magazine articles.
