Do you ever tussle with life?
Have you found yourself craving a word of encouragement?
Perhaps you hunger for a morsel of hope.

Dianne Finnegan Wilson, author of Out of the Desert, Softly and Finding the Flowers in a Prickly World, reveals that she has, indeed, tussled with life. Yet, each battle has drawn her nearer to the heart of God, and declared His love victorious. Bringing even more encouragement and hope to her readers through Boldly I Come, Lord..., Wilson illustrates the love of God for His precious children and His desire that we appeal to Him with all our concerns: "If it matters to us, it matters to Him. Our heavenly Father cares that much."

Discover a unique blend of daring conviction and tender compassion as Wilson offers ninety more days of soul nourishment, rich with poignancy and subtle humor. The premise that leaps from Boldly I Come, Lordů admonishes us to come boldly before God's throne of grace to petition Him in all things, great or small.

Not getting what you think you want right now? Consider Job. What a mess, and what divine restoration! And maybe you think you're not worthy to bring your own requests so boldly before the Lord, but consider King Davidů. The Lord never removed His favor in spite of David's flagrant disobedience, even when he committed adultery and murder. Why? Find out as you take the plunge into yet another facet of your walk with the One who has come to set us free; and never, but never, let fear, pride, or shame steal the blessings that God has waiting for you.

Dianne Finnegan Wilson hails from Downers Grove, Illinois. She received her liberal arts education from Clarke College, Dubuque, Iowa, and a Bachelor of Music degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. During her years of balancing career responsibilities with home and children, Ms. Wilson enjoyed several diverse opportunities in the areas of education, music, and theater. From 1982 through 1994, as a nationally certified addictions counselor, she focused her career efforts on working with alcoholics and other drug addicts in the arena of inpatient treatment, case coordination, crisis intervention, and program management. In 1996, Ms. Wilson found herself in the desert wilderness of northwestern Arizona, having relocated from Chicago suburbia following a disabling medical crisis. Here she began a healing journey with Jesus, from which her first set of devotionals, Out of the Desert, Softly, was born. We were amazed at the reception Desert gained among people of all ages, walks of life, and religious, or non-religious, conviction. Testimonies poured in to reveal that God has touched many hearts as they sojourned Out of the Desert, Softly. Finding the Flowers in a Prickly World is bolder, and meatier, says Wilson. Focusing on the Flowers manuscript helped me to overcome a cancer diagnosis, and resulting surgery, in 2007. I pray it will bless others through the prickly places they might encounter as they travel through life's uncertaintyNow, with many request for a third devotional, Wilson brings to life Boldly I Come, Lord . Meant to offer even more encouragement and hope to her readers, Wilson insists that it's not only okay to petition our Lord in all things, great or small, but a matter of obedience to His Word. Wilson still enjoys, grandchildren, walks in the desert with her wonderful God-given husband, Jay, and music lots of music, more than ever before.
