The Pilgrim Press is proud to announce THE LIVING THEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF THE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, a seven-volume series of foundational documents, treatises, and statements celebrating the history, faith, and practice of one of Protestantism's most significant denominations.

The series, edited by Hartford Seminary's Barbara Brown Zikmund, will include materials found in the literature of the ancient and medieval church, the Reformation, Puritanism, Pietism, frontier revivalism, American missionary organizations, the ecumenical movement, women's experience, diverse immigrant and ethnic records, and the unique expressions of the United Church of Christ since its formation in 1957. Each volume features an interpretive introductory essay, and each document is introduced with brief remarks from the volume editors.
